Interview with Top Russian Tax Officials on AEOI and Tax Amnesty in Moscow

On the 17th of April 2018 Olga Boltenko will be interviewing two Russian top officials responsible for Automatic Exchange of Information (AEOI) and exchange of information on request: Dmitry Valerievich Volvach and Alexandra Valerievna Kadet. This interview will take place at the Wealth Management & Private Banking Summit – Russia & CIS, organised in Moscow by Adam Smith Conferences.

The goal of the interview is to see how the information received on automatic basis will be processed by the Russian tax authorities, how exchange of information will be used in auditing Russian tax payers and whether tax transparency will lead to substantial changes of the Russian tax system.

Olga will inquire how the exchange of information on request has been working in the past, what are the most common questions Russian tax authorities ask and what are the most popular jurisdictions to send requests. We will also ask the officials on what they expect from the new tax amnesty and from the potential liberalisation of currency control.
